Child Abuse Investigations
Reports of abuse or neglect of children are often investigated by multidisciplinary teams. Law enforcement officers involved in child maltreatment investigations need to know what role they play in the process and what resources are available to them and the families involved. This one day class, a collaboration of the Arkansas State Police, Crimes Against Children Division and the Arkansas Commission on Child Abuse, Rape, and Domestic Violence, aims to strengthen understanding of child abuse prevention and the most effective ways to aid children at risk. This course is designed for all certified law enforcement officers.
