Drug Recognition Expert (DRE)

This 9-day course certifies law enforcement officers as Drug Recognition Experts. Participants will learn classification of drugs and their observable effects. An officer must be a certified SFST graduate to attend this course.  The deadline for applications will be September 27, 2017. • This class is 72 hours.
• This class earns credits in our Degree Program.
• Must be 24-hour SFST certified.
• Must have completed Advanced Roadside Impaired Driving Enforcement (ARIDE).
• Must complete the Application Process using the Application Checklist and submit required items by September 27, 2017.
