COURSE DESCRIPTION: This course is intended for individuals who are actively working in law enforcement and who have a basic knowledge and understanding of Adobe®
Photoshop.® It is recommended that all individuals have a minimum of two years’ experience working in their respective forensic environment. Upon completion of this  program, attendees will have a thorough understanding of forensic digital imaging concepts and how various image processing techniques can aid in the investigative process. At the end of each block of instruction, students must successfully complete a practical exercise to demonstrate that the required learning objectives were achieved.

INSTRUCTOR: Mr. David Witzke (better known as Ski), Vice President of Program Management for Foray Technologies, is considered to be one of the foremost experts in forensic digital imaging technologies. During the past 18 years, Mr. Witzke has conducted in excess of a hundred beginner, intermediate and advanced digital image process of evidentiary photography training programs for law enforcement agencies at all levels – local, State and Federal – throughout the United States and Canada, and has earned both national and international recognition for conducting user training for both novice and experienced computer users in a wide range of military and forensic disciplines. Mr. Witzke has also developed and trains latent print examiners how to create and use a new, innovative technique for preparing court exhibits that clearly demonstrates all three levels of fingerprint detail to the lay person in a manner that is readily understandable using traditional court charts.
