Complete Microsoft Word
Microsoft Word is a full-featured word processing application that enhances professionalism of written communication and documentation. Law enforcement personnel can create templates and forms for agency documents that are used over and over again. Microsoft Word can also be utilized to create graphics and tables for newsletters, notification posts, reports, and brochures.
Topics Include: Creating and Editing Documents, Working with Numbers and Bullets, Using Design Themes, Working with Graphics, Headers, and Footers, Creating Customized Templates, and Mail Merge. This course is a combination of Using Microsoft Word and Advanced Microsoft Word: Reference Tables, Large Documents, Forms, and Templates.
• This class is 7 hours.
• Class hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
• It is recommended that students have a working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and possess basic computer navigation skills.
• This class earns credits in our Degree Program.
