Standardized Field Sobriety Testing Instructor Development Course
The Criminal Justice Institute is now accepting applications for this course. Potential candidates will need to complete an application packet and return it by the deadline of December 30, 2024. This certification course will be 40 classroom hours. The Candidate trains and certifies to become an instructor of the Standardized Field Sobriety Testing Program. This course certifies the candidate to teach Standardized Field Sobriety Testing, Standardized Field Sobriety Testing Refresher, and Standardized Field Sobriety Instructor Development Courses.
DATE AND LOCATION:
This course will be held at the Criminal Justice Institute, 26 Corporate Hill Drive, Little Rock, AR 72205 on January 13-17, 2025 (8 am through 5 pm or possibly later). Lodging will be provided by CJI and all meals and travel expenses will be reimbursed for those traveling more than 50 miles away. Prerequisites:
Candidates must have the following:
- Effected at least 25 DWI arrests in the past four years where you administered the SFSTs
- Current Instructor Development Certification
