Foundations of Supervision and Leadership ONLINE
COURSE DESCRIPTION: The role of first-line supervisors in law enforcement is unique. Those supervised by first-line supervisors exercise a lot of authority in their day-today jobs. Additionally, first-line supervisors, mainly officers who work closely with the public, are tasked with ensuring daily that officers understand and reflect the vision of the agency and meet the goals set forth by executive management. Adequate training is the most important requirement for developing effective managers, especially those who are newly promoted.
